What are the treatments for vasculitis

Vasculitis is the abbreviation of thromboangiitis obliterans, which is an allergic inflammation occurring in blood vessels. Vasculitis is a very stubborn vascular disease. Therefore, the treatment of vasculitis is very important and must be treated in a timely manner. Vasculitis can also be treated surgically.

1. Vascular bypass surgery, also known as vascular bypass surgery. In fact, it is the same as heart bypass surgery, except that the lesion appears on the limbs, and mainly on the lower limbs. For example, if the lesion is only limited to a few centimeters or a dozen centimeters, we can abandon this section of the road and open a new one. There are two possibilities. One is that it will take a huge project to repair it, so we might as well build another one. The other possibility is that it cannot be repaired at all, so we might as well build another artificial blood vessel. We need to ensure the blood supply and nutrition below the knee joint.

2. Medication and physical therapy. Drug treatment mainly means that we use drugs to suppress vasculitis lesions in the chest cavity or further deterioration of lesions.

3. Interventional treatment. Interventional therapy is equivalent to an intravascular surgery, which can achieve the effect of surgery without the need for surgery. The most representative interventional technology is intravascular ultrasonic ablation, which uses ultrasound of a certain wavelength to restore the flow of blocked blood vessels.

4. General treatment

For superficial thrombophlebitis, the patient should rest in bed during the acute phase, elevate the affected limb, reduce the inflammatory edema of the affected limb, and perform local physical therapy. If there is a secondary bacterial infection, antibiotics should be used.

5. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment mainly uses various Chinese medicines to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, fumigation, acupoint injection, and various external application of decomposing and tissue-regenerating ointments to achieve relatively considerable therapeutic effects. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment is less painful. However, the course of treatment for this therapy is relatively long and the effect is not very obvious. Patients with vasculitis treated with traditional Chinese medicine must have sufficient patience, persist in preparing for a protracted battle, and never give up halfway.
