Fever caused by gastroenteritis is a very common symptom. During the illness, you should rest more and replenish electrolytes in time to prevent and treat dehydration caused by vomiting and diarrhea. During this period, you should also pay attention to your diet, which should be light and nutritious to avoid further irritation to the intestines. 1. Treatment methods General treatment: Rest in bed as much as possible and take glucose-electrolyte solution orally to replenish fluid loss. If vomiting persists or dehydration is obvious, intravenous supplementation of 5%-10% glucose saline and other relevant electrolytes is required. Encourage a light liquid or semi-liquid diet to prevent dehydration or treat mild dehydration. Symptomatic treatment: Antiemetics can be injected if necessary: for example, intramuscular injection of chlorpromazine 25-100 mg/day. Antispasmodics: such as Belladonna 8n 11 times, 3 times a day. Antidiarrheal drugs: such as Smecta, 1 bag each time, 2-3 times a day. 2. Gastroenteritis care During the recovery period of enteritis, due to changes in the gastrointestinal tract, especially the intestinal pathophysiology, the intestines are very sensitive to food. Therefore, special attention should be paid to diet control. It is advisable to eat light, soft, and warm food, and avoid eating fatty meat, fried, raw, cold, and hard foods too early, as well as high-fiber foods such as celery, leeks, garlic shoots, etc. After 2 to 3 days of recovery, you can eat as normal. 3.
