What are the hazards of high blood pressure? These aspects have a great impact

The chance of inheriting hypertension is very high. In addition to environmental factors, age factors and obesity are common causes of hypertension. The harm of hypertension cannot be ignored. It can affect vision, cause arteriosclerosis, cause stroke, and in severe cases, it can be life-threatening.

1. Hypertension causes blurred vision. If the blood pressure is high for a long time, the retinal artery will harden, the artery will have a silver line reaction, the carotid artery will cross, and the retina will have bleeding, exudation, edema, etc. Over time, these exudates will be deposited on the retina, and radial waxy yellow spots will appear on the fundus. This can cause visual impairment in hypertensive patients, such as blurred vision, smaller or deformed food, etc.

2. Hypertension can promote arteriosclerosis. Due to the influence of high blood pressure, blood cholesterol and other substances in the body are easily deposited on the coronary arteries, which can easily cause peripheral arteriosclerosis. At the same time, due to the influence of high blood pressure, the thickening of vascular muscles can also cause the blood vessels to become narrow.

3. Hypertension can easily lead to stroke. When the cerebral arteries of patients with hypertension are hardened to a certain degree, a little excitement or excessive excitement, anger, strenuous exercise, etc. in daily life will cause the blood pressure to rise sharply. The cerebral blood vessels will rupture and bleed due to the increase in blood pressure, and the blood will overflow into the brain tissue around the blood vessels. At this time, the patient with hypertension will immediately fall into a coma. This is usually called a stroke.

4. Hypertension can easily lead to heart failure. The human body's blood pressure is constantly rising. When the blood pressure is high enough to affect the heart, the structure and function of the heart will change due to high blood pressure. Long-term high blood pressure increases the burden on the left ventricle, and the left ventricle gradually thickens and expands due to compensation, thus forming hypertensive heart disease and finally leading to heart failure.
