1. Dry eyes

In addition, the electromagnetic waves, ultraviolet rays, radiation, dazzling colors and infrared rays from mobile phone screens can also irritate the eyes. The correct approach: If you often play with your phone and get dry eyes, you can use the following methods, such as using a hot towel to apply; drinking green tea or Tieguanyin regularly; or looking out to rest after playing with your phone and doing eye exercises to relieve symptoms such as eye fatigue and dryness.

2. Affecting vision

Hazards: Lying in bed for a long time playing with your phone can cause great damage to your eyes. Lying sideways puts the greatest pressure on the left and right eyes. This will cause vision deviation in the left and right eyes after a month. The pressure of the pillow on the eyes will cause insufficient blood supply. After a long time, the eyes will feel swollen and have short-term image overlap. This cannot be cured by eye drops! This is why some people wear glasses with different degrees on the left and right sides. Also, if you stare at your phone for a long time in a dark room, the light from the phone will fatigue your eye muscles, affecting your ability to focus and causing blurred vision. It may be just temporary visual fatigue at first, but in the long run it will become permanent and eventually lead to myopia. It may even cause astigmatism!

The correct approach: You should limit the number of times you play with your phone, keep your eyes away from the screen when playing with your phone, and pay attention to eye care after playing with your phone, such as using eye drops, doing eye exercises, etc.

3. Damage to the skin

Hazards: Playing with mobile phones late at night can cause serious damage to the skin. Night is the time when the human body's resistance and immunity are the weakest. Not getting proper rest will damage skin health. In addition, today's mobile phones have high technological content, and people hold their phones very close to their faces, which can have a great impact on the skin and make acne more likely. In addition, the mobile phone is a very unhygienic item. The surface is covered with bacteria. When playing with the mobile phone at night, it will inevitably touch the face, neck, ears and other places, which may cause acne and pimples.

4. Affecting the cervical spine

Hazards: Normal people all have a physiological curvature of the cervical spine. If there is no physiological curvature, or even if it bends in the opposite direction, it is called "reverse arch". "Cervical kyphosis" is the most common pathological basis of cervical spondylosis. A high pillow can cause the head to flex forward, increase the stress on the lower cervical spine, and may accelerate cervical degeneration. Bad habits such as lying on a high backrest to watch TV, surfing the Internet for a long time, or playing with mobile phones while lying down will cause the cervical spine to be stretched for a long time, and its lordosis will gradually decrease, become straight, or even become reversed.

Correct way: Do not play with mobile phone in bad postures such as lying down or half lying down, as this will cause great harm to the cervical spine. It is best to play with mobile phone in a normal sitting position. In addition, after playing with mobile phone in a bad posture, remember to do some stretching exercises, gently shake the cervical spine, etc. to relieve discomfort in the cervical spine.

5. Affecting the biological clock

Danger: Using a cell phone, tablet or other light-emitting electronic device in bed for more than an hour can reduce a person's total melatonin production by about 22%. Once people's melatonin is suppressed to this extent, their physiological cycle will also be affected. The direct impact is that people will always be in light sleep, greatly reducing their sleep time. Some people even become so excited after playing with their mobile phones for more than an hour that they have to continue playing. It makes you feel worse the next day and makes you prone to anxiety and depression.
