In life, we may encounter some unexpected events at certain times. Some men may suffer testicular trauma, which will cause pain. Understanding the symptoms of testicular trauma pain can help men realize the seriousness of the problem earlier and seek treatment early, thus avoiding the disease from developing to a terrible level. Blood overflow due to collateral injury (early stage) 1. Clinical manifestations The scrotum is swollen and painful, the skin is blue and bruised, the testicles are enlarged and hard, the pain is severe, or accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fever and other symptoms. The tongue is dark purple or has ecchymosis, and the pulse is stringy and astringent. 2. Syndrome analysis Traumatic injuries to the scrotum and testicles can damage blood vessels, causing blood to overflow and accumulate in the scrotum and testicles, compressing the nerves. This can result in scrotal swelling and pain, cyanosis and bruising of the skin, enlarged and hard testicles, and severe pain. When the liver meridian is damaged, the qi cannot be discharged properly and it will affect the stomach, causing stomach qi to go against the flow and causing nausea and vomiting. When blood stasis turns into heat, fever will occur. The tongue is purple with dark ecchymosis and the pulse is stringy and wiry, indicating the presence of internal blood stasis. Blood stasis (late stage) 1. Clinical manifestations The testicles are swollen and hard, but there is no obvious pain. The swelling of the scrotum is reduced, the scrotal wall is thickened, a lump is formed inside, there is occasional dull pain, and discomfort in the perineum. The tongue is dark purple or has ecchymosis, and the pulse is sluggish. 2. Syndrome analysis If the blood stasis in the scrotum and testicles does not go away over time, the hematoma may become organized and form a lump or hard swollen testicles. The bleeding has stopped, so the swelling is reduced and the pain is relieved. Internal blood stasis affects the circulation of Qi and blood, which may cause dull pain, discomfort in the perineum, thickening of the scrotal wall, and even malnutrition and atrophy of the testicles. The tongue is dark purple with ecchymosis and the pulse is sluggish, indicating that the blood stasis has not yet disappeared. Other symptoms Testicular trauma may have obvious traumatic symptoms, and the severity of the symptoms is related to the degree, type, and complications of the injury. The local pain is severe and can radiate to the lower abdomen, waist or upper abdomen. In severe cases, it can induce painful shock, also known as testicular shock. Testicular contusion may present with dull pain or be accompanied by symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and fever. |
