Can I use floral water to relieve itching? How to use it correctly?

In summer, there are more mosquitoes, and toilet water has gradually become a must-have item in summer. Many people who are easily bitten by mosquitoes may wish to spray some floral water on their bodies before going out, which can effectively repel mosquitoes. But it should be pointed out that many people also apply floral water to relieve itching after being bitten by mosquitoes. So is this practice correct?

1. Can I use floral water to relieve itching?

The ingredients of toilet water contain "digestive esters", which is why toilet water can prevent mosquito bites. However, "DEMO repellent" can only prevent mosquito bites. If you apply floral water directly after being bitten by a mosquito, it will not have any effect. Many people may feel that the itching is gone after applying the product, but this is actually an illusion caused by the evaporation of alcohol making the skin feel cool. When a mosquito bites a person, wounds will be left on the skin. In addition, many people will scratch their skin due to pain and itching, and even bleed. If you apply floral water at this time, the alcohol, repellent and other chemical substances in it will directly irritate the skin through the wound and enter the human body. Not only will it fail to reduce inflammation, but it will aggravate skin damage and even cause poisoning. Therefore, after being bitten by mosquitoes, do not spray floral water or scratch the affected area with your hands to avoid infection. You can first rinse with soapy water or baking soda water to neutralize the acidic toxins secreted by mosquitoes.

2. Five common misunderstandings about the use of toilet water.

1. Excessive use: In order to avoid mosquito bites, often pour a lot of toilet water and apply it to various parts of the body. However, some people may experience symptoms such as itching and cold sweats when doing so, so you should apply the floral water in moderation to avoid adverse reactions in your body.

2. After suffering from dermatitis, the toilet water used contains an ingredient called "Imonin", which can make mosquitoes lose the awareness of biting people. If you apply floral water after suffering from dermatitis, it will not only fail to treat the dermatitis, but the "Imonin" ingredient can also cause allergic reactions on the skin and aggravate the symptoms of dermatitis. Patients with dermatitis can drop 4-5 drops of floral water on the electric mosquito coils, which can not only repel mosquitoes but also avoid skin allergies.

3. Go into the kitchen and "light a fire" to cook immediately after applying the toilet water. Many people ignore the precautions after using the toilet water: please avoid fire sources when using and storing it. This is because toilet water contains 75% alcohol and 5% fragrance ingredients, which will ignite once it comes close to a fire source. Therefore, do not use fire or get close to fire sources immediately after applying the floral water, such as: lighting mosquito coils, lighting cigarettes, using stoves with open flames, etc.

3. Correct use of floral water

When using toilet water to prevent mosquito bites, do not apply it directly on your body. You should drop 2-3 drops of floral water in water, dilute it and take a bath, or drop it on a cool mat. It should be noted that when used for infants and young children, it must be diluted at least 4-5 times.

In summer, people use floral water to repel mosquitoes, relieve itching, kill bacteria and deodorize, but if used improperly, it will not only harm your health, but in serious cases it can even be fatal.
