I believe many people have experienced burns. For burns that are not very serious, the injury will recover quickly, so as long as you ensure that the wound is not injured again, you can recover in a short time. However, if the burn is more serious, then while treating the wound, the injured person also needs to abstain from food, not drink large amounts of alcohol, and the daily diet should be as light as possible. 1. Can I drink alcohol if I have a burn? If the burn is on a very small area, you can continue to eat your normal diet and drink a little wine. However, if the burn is on a larger area, it is recommended that you eat a light diet and not drink alcohol to avoid aggravating the condition. 2. Burn victims should not drink large amounts of boiled water in the early stages Burn victims often complain of thirst in the early stages after injury, which is usually a manifestation of insufficient blood volume. The larger the burn area, the more severe the fluid exudation, and the more obvious the thirst. At this time, the wounded often keep taking large amounts of boiled water, sugar water or other sweet drinks, which is very wrong. Because the body fluids that exude after a burn are not only water, but also contain other components such as electrolytes and plasma. If you simply drink water, the blood crystal osmotic pressure will inevitably decrease, causing a large amount of water to rush into the cells, causing intracellular edema and water poisoning. Moreover, the thirst of burn victims is often difficult to relieve by drinking water, which can easily lead to excessive drinking and acute gastric dilatation. The victims will experience abdominal distension and vomiting, resulting in a large loss of water and electrolytes. Therefore, for patients with medium or small area burns, before receiving intravenous infusion, they can take an appropriate amount of salt-sugar solution orally, that is, add 0.3 grams of table salt, 0.15 grams of baking soda and an appropriate amount of sugar to 100 ml of cold boiled water, or salt-containing beverages, such as hot tea, rice soup, soy milk, etc. with salt. In principle, oral rehydration should be given in small amounts and multiple times, and should be increased or decreased as appropriate. The patient's thirst should never be met arbitrarily. 3. Dietary Combination Time Allocation 1. The staple foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner consist of rice and pasta, vegetables and meat (including fish, chicken, duck, rabbit, beef, pork, etc.). Every meal should include both meat and vegetables to ensure that most of the nutrients needed by the human body are replenished every day. 2. You can add milk, soy milk, eggs, lotus root powder, pastries, etc. between meals and before going to bed. 3. Eat fruits before and after meals to stimulate appetite, aid digestion, and supplement multiple vitamins. |
