It is used to treat headaches, heaviness of the head, and pain all over the body caused by exogenous wind, cold and dampness. It is often used with Notopterygium wilfordii, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Saposhnikovia divaricata, etc., such as Qianghuo Shengshi Decoction.
