Coronary heart disease interventional treatment, pay attention to the method

Coronary heart disease is the abbreviation of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. Many elderly people over the age of 50 are prone to this disease, which has a great impact on our lives. Do you know what interventional treatment for coronary heart disease is? I guess many people are not very clear about it. Let's learn about it together below.

Coronary heart disease is a lifestyle disease. To date, its cause is unclear and there is still a lack of effective cure. Although a stent is placed, it only mechanically opens the diseased blood vessels and restores coronary blood flow, but does not eliminate the soil for the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease. In addition, the stent made of alloy itself is a foreign body to the human body, and the body has naturally developed the ability to reject foreign bodies during the process of evolution.

The fastest and most effective rejection reaction is that platelets wrap around the stent to prevent it from contacting the blood. We can imagine that if the surface of the stent is wrapped by a thrombus formed by platelets, the lumen of the stent part will be blocked by the thrombus. Therefore, we need to use antiplatelet drugs in combination for a considerable period of time after the stent operation to ensure that the surface of the stent is not wrapped by the thrombus and to keep the blood vessels open. It takes about 1 year for the endothelial cells of the vascular lining to gradually grow to the surface of the stent and wrap around the stent.

This layer of vascular endothelial cells is arranged in a single layer and belongs to the normal cell structure of the vascular endothelium. It has good lubrication and anti-thrombotic effects. After the endothelial cells wrap the stent intactly, it indicates that the stent structure is embedded in the human tissue and becomes a part of the vascular structure. The possibility of thrombosis formation in the stent is significantly reduced. Clinically, doctors can appropriately reduce the use of antiplatelet drugs according to the situation. It can be seen that stenting is not a one-time technology. After stenting, it is necessary to comprehensively control the risk factors of coronary heart disease on the basis of comprehensive improvement of lifestyle in order to improve the prognosis.
