Middle-aged women are prone to gallstones, but now many young people also suffer from gallstones. Gallstones can be treated with medication, usually anti-inflammatory and choleretic drugs. The most important thing is to pay attention to your daily diet, drink plenty of water, and eat less sweets and greasy foods. 1. Drug treatment of gallstones 1. Oral lithotripsy: There are two main types of oral lithotripsy drugs currently used in clinical practice: chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA) and ursodeoxycholic acid (VDCA). These two drugs desaturate the bile by reducing the secretion of bile cholesterol. Unsaturated bile has the function of dissolving cholesterol, causing the cholesterol molecules on the surface of gallstones to be continuously dissolved, and the volume of gallstones to gradually shrink until they are completely dissolved. 2. Infusion lithotripsy method. As early as the end of the last century, some people had studied the dissolution of residual stones after common bile duct exploration. Later, many scholars did a lot of research and found some drugs with litholytic effects. The litholytic drugs were injected into the gallbladder and achieved good therapeutic effects. However, the exact effect of litholysis has yet to be proven by a large amount of clinical practice. Up to now, no drug has been found that can effectively dissolve stones while being relatively safe and having few side effects. 2. Diet therapy for gallstones 1. Drink more water. Water accounts for 70% of the human body. Drinking more water can effectively promote the body's metabolic function, help excrete gallstones in the body, and alleviate the progression of the disease. It is the simplest and most practical dietary therapy for gallstones. 2.Lemon juice, apple juice. Most gallstones nowadays are cholesterol stones, and the rich fruit acid contained in apple juice and lemon juice can dissolve cholesterol. 3. Olive oil. Studies have found that the formation of gallstones is also related to people's long-term consumption of animal oils. Therefore, patients with gallstones should try to avoid eating animal oils and eat more vegetable oils and olive oil. Among them, olive oil promotes bile duct contraction, promotes lubrication, and helps in the discharge of stones. 4. Eat less sugar and meat. Excessive consumption of sugar can increase the body's uric acid levels, produce calcium oxalate and calcium urate and form precipitation, which promotes the occurrence of stones. Meat contains a large amount of cholesterol and uric acid produced after metabolism, which are the main components of stone formation. |
