Tips and methods for driving in snowy weather

Driving in the snow is actually a very dangerous thing, so you must master various driving skills to ensure safety. It is recommended that drivers driving in the snow should concentrate, be safe and courteous, and do not overload or speed.

First of all, when driving in snowy weather, drivers must concentrate, drive safely and courteously, and drive at a moderate speed, and keep a safe distance in front, behind, left, and right.

Second, when starting and driving, you should use the gears reasonably, lift the clutch slowly, accelerate lightly, and start smoothly.

Third, the vehicle must not be overloaded, speeding, overtaking illegally, or coasting in neutral gear.

Fourth, hold the steering wheel firmly with both hands, steer lightly (slowly), and try to keep the vehicle moving in a straight line. Slow down in advance when encountering situations or turning, make full use of the engine's braking force to shift to a low gear to control the speed, and lightly step on the brake.

Fifth, when the vehicle is driving normally, it is strictly forbidden to suddenly accelerate, decelerate, turn the steering wheel suddenly, or brake suddenly, as this can easily cause an accident.

Sixth, if the vehicle encounters side slips or deviations during driving, the driver should reduce the throttle in time, turn the wheel in the direction of the side slip, and lightly apply the brakes to straighten the vehicle body.

Seventh, when driving on a slope, you should have an assistant with you and prepare triangular wood (and install anti-skid devices on the driving wheels if necessary). If the vehicle slips or slides sideways and mechanical parking is ineffective, the driver's assistant must accurately use the triangular board to slow down until the vehicle stops.

Eighth, if an accident occurs suddenly, you must step on the brakes firmly and do not release them. Keep the driving direction correct so that the wheels push the accident object forward to prevent the wheels from turning and running over the accident object, causing greater losses.

Ninth, when driving a motor vehicle, try to stay away from bicycles to prevent them from slipping and causing accidents.

Finally, when the sunlight is dazzling after snow, it is best to wear protective glasses to ensure that the driver can promptly detect situations occurring during driving.
