What is the reason for eyelash loss? It turns out that they are the cause

Many female friends suddenly experience eyelash loss for unknown reasons. Experts say it may be caused by dryness around the eyes, or it may be a disease, such as styes, mitochondria, etc. In addition, the chemical toxicity of cosmetics can also cause this phenomenon.

1. Dryness around the eyes: Frequent use of mascara will make the eyelashes dry, causing them to fall off. Although many mascara now contain fibrin or vitamin ingredients, it is wrapped by the main ingredients wax and pigment raw materials. Therefore, the maintenance effect cannot be achieved at the same time. You can try mixing a little olive oil with a little red wine before going to bed, and then apply it on your eyelashes with a cotton swab. This method can help stimulate eyelash growth.

2. Certain eye diseases: common eye problems such as styes and mitochondria can cause partial loss of eyelashes.

3. Blepharitis: The occurrence of blepharitis is related to excessive sebum secretion in the eyelid area. If the sebum outlet is often blocked, it can easily cause bacterial infection. The hair follicles at the root of the eyelashes become sick and fragile, so that the eyelashes fall off when you rub your eyes. If the doctor diagnoses that the eyelash loss is caused by blepharitis, it is recommended to improve the eyelid skin care, apply hot compresses more often, and use a baby tear-free shampoo, dilute it with clean water in a 1:1 ratio, and use a cotton swab to clean the root of the eyelashes, and then wipe it with clean water. This is also a simple way to wash the eyelashes.

4. Chemical toxicity of cosmetics: Some eye shadows or eyeliners contain unqualified chemicals, which can disrupt the normal growth of eyelashes and cause eyelash loss. In severe cases, it may cause lesions at the root of the eyelashes and hair follicles, resulting in redness, swelling, itching and pain at the eyelid margin. Generally, inferior eyeliner will form coarse particles when applied to the upper and lower eyelid margins, similar to coal slag, which will accumulate between the eyelashes at the eyelid margins, on the eyelashes or at the roots of the eyelashes. If it is not removed thoroughly or cleaned properly, it may also affect the health of eyelashes.
