Where is the nasal vestibule located?

The nasal vestibule is located in the nose and is often prone to vestibulitis, a common nasal disease. If you often feel nasal pain and discomfort, as well as redness and swelling of the nasal foramen, you should pay attention to timely examination to eliminate the disease and reduce the harm.

1. Common symptoms include nasal pain and discomfort, redness and swelling of the anterior nasal aperture, and inflammation that sometimes extends to the upper lip skin. In young children, there are often two red spots on the upper lip skin, which extend downward from the anterior nasal aperture, due to irritation from nasal secretions.

2. In acute cases, the skin of the nasal vestibule is red, swollen and painful. In severe cases, it may extend to the junction with the upper lip, with tenderness, epidermal erosion and covered with scabs.

3. Chronic vestibulitis is manifested by fever, dryness, itching and tenderness in the nasal vestibule. Examination shows sparse nasal hair in the nasal vestibule, local skin thickening, and scab formation. After the scab is removed, small bleeding wounds may be found.

4. The skin in the nasal vestibule is red and swollen, often with superficial erosion or cracks, sometimes the nasal hair falls off, and the nasal vestibule is covered with pus crusts.

5. Anterior rhinoscopy can reveal lesions in the skin of the nasal vestibule. In acute cases, the skin of the nasal vestibule is red, swollen and painful. In severe cases, it can extend to the junction with the upper lip, with tenderness, epidermal erosion and covered with scabs.
