The causes of high uric acid, three most common causes

High uric acid will have a certain impact on people's health. It may cause diseases such as gout. The main causes of high uric acid are abnormal kidney excretion, improper diet and drug factors. For the phenomenon of high uric acid, we must treat the cause.

1. Caused by abnormal renal excretion

The kidneys are the main route for excreting uric acid. When uric acid is not completely excreted, the concentration of uric acid in the blood will increase. Professor Zhu believes that the reason why the human body has high uric acid levels is mainly due to hyperuricemia caused by the uric acid concentration in the blood being higher than normal.

2. Caused by inattention to diet

When the patient already has high blood uric acid, he still does not pay attention to his diet and usually eats foods high in purine, such as various animal offal, seafood, meat, beer, stays up late, socializes, and other eating behaviors, which can lead to high uric acid.

3. Drug-induced

Inhibition of uric acid excretion and/or increased reabsorption due to drugs, intoxication, or endogenous metabolites. This occurs when anion transport systems are inhibited, two important inhibitors of which are lactate and keto acids.

Love reminder

High uric acid levels may lead to gout, so after finding the cause of high uric acid levels, you need to actively control it and not treat it carelessly.

For those with slightly elevated blood uric acid levels and gout, sodium bicarbonate tablets can be taken. If the level is significantly elevated, benzbromarone can be used. If the blood uric acid level persists above 500, allopurinol should be considered. When gout attacks acutely, only colchicine can be used for analgesia. For mild pain, indomethacin or Voltaren ointment can be used. Diet control and drinking plenty of water are important in controlling the onset of gout. Be careful to avoid foods high in purine.
