What to do if your scalp is itchy? Learning nursing is the most important thing

Whenever the scalp itches, people usually think that it might be due to dirty hair. But sometimes, even after you have just washed your hair, you find that your scalp is still itchy, and you can't help but scratch it with your hands. Here we would like to remind everyone that scratching with your hands is not a good solution. Instead, learn the following care methods.

1. Appropriate shampooing temperature

When you wash your hair, make sure the water temperature is appropriate. Too hot water will burn the sensitive scalp and take away more oil, making it inadequately protected; too cold water will stimulate the scalp to contract and cause more severe itching symptoms. The water temperature for washing your hair should fluctuate around normal body temperature, which can also soothe the scalp. In addition, be sure to rinse off the shampoo or conditioner thoroughly and do not leave any residue that will continue to damage and irritate the scalp.

2. Gentle and moisturizing cleansing products

When your scalp is sensitive, the first thing you need to do is moisturize it. Only by keeping the scalp in a moist environment can it slowly restore its normal acid-base level and water-oil balance, and gradually repair its self-protection barrier. While moisturizing, you should mainly choose mild products and not cause excessive stimulation to the scalp. Think about the mildness of the products you use when your face is allergic, and you will understand. You can give priority to products with mineral-rich formulas that also have hydrating effects. Generally speaking, such products can effectively soothe scalp sensitivity, reduce scalp fatigue, and restore the vitality of the scalp.

3. Massage your scalp

Giving your scalp a proper massage is the most effective way to get rid of scalp massage. When washing your hair, gently rub your scalp for two to three minutes. This will help blood circulation and have a soothing effect. In normal times, you can use some massage creams or scalp essential oils and use the following massage techniques: first press from the top of the head to both sides, and then press backwards from front to back, or start from the temples on both sides, press upwards along the hairline with your thumbs, and at the same time comb your hair with your fingers and gently lift your scalp.
