High uric acid levels can have a significant impact on human health. Many people with high uric acid levels may have no symptoms in the early stages, but over time they will develop a series of symptoms such as acute arthritis, headache, and anorexia. Therefore, from a health perspective, special attention should be paid to adjusting high uric acid levels in individuals. Most people would choose to adjust their diet, so is it suitable for people with high uric acid to eat winter melon?

High uric acid levels can cause the following symptoms.

1. Asymptomatic period. The patient only has a persistent or fluctuating increase in blood uric acid without any clinical manifestations. The time from increased blood uric acid to the onset of symptoms can be as long as several years, and some people may not even experience symptoms throughout their lifetime.

Initially it is unilateral arthritis, occasionally bilateral or sequential attacks, most commonly in the toe joints, followed by the ankles, hands, wrists, knees, elbows and other joints of the feet. The disease recurs and may develop into polyarthritis, with redness, swelling, heat, pain and limited movement. There may also be exudation in the large joint cavities, and symptoms such as fever, fatigue, anorexia, headache, etc.
