The effect of boiler descaling agent

Chemical descaling is divided into two types: alkaline cleaning and acid cleaning. The alkali washing method is to inject alkali liquids of different types and concentrations into the boiler, and then boil the boiler under a certain pressure, generally for 48 hours or longer, so as to achieve the purpose of alkali washing.

During pickling and descaling, the acid not only removes the scale on the heating surface of the boiler, but also reacts with the metal, causing corrosion or perforation of the boiler. Therefore, the technical requirements for pickling are relatively high, and general units and individuals are not allowed to engage in pickling and descaling business without approval. When the boiler is pickled and descaled, it must be done by a pickling unit with the corresponding pickling level. This pickling unit must hold a chemical cleaning license issued by the boiler and pressure vessel safety supervision department.

Descaling a boiler does not necessarily require the use of descaling agents. In many cases, some methods and techniques in life can also achieve good cleaning effects.
