Although many businesses now emphasize that their products can effectively remove stains on clothes, there are still many stains that cannot be removed. Stains on clothes will make the clothes look very untidy and have a negative impact on the overall appearance of the person. Therefore, many people want to find a way to remove stains. So how to remove stains on white clothes?

1. Removal of dye stains

If dye gets on clothes, first wipe it with dilute acetic acid and then rinse it with hydrogen peroxide. You can also scrub it with turpentine and then wipe it with gasoline. Finally, rinse with clean water.

2. Removal of red ink stains

Newly stained red ink stains can be washed with water first, then soaked in warm soapy water, and after the color stains are removed, rinse them with clean water. For red ink stains that have been contaminated for a long time, wash them with water first, and then wipe them off with a 10% alcohol water solution.

3. Removal of blue ink stains

Fresh blue ink stains can be removed by scrubbing with soap, laundry detergent or other detergents. Blue ink stains that have been contaminated for a long time can be soaked in oxalic acid solution, scrubbed, and then washed with detergent to remove them.

4. Removal of mercurochrome stains

If clothes are stained with mercurochrome, first wash them with warm detergent solution, then soak and scrub them with oxalic acid and potassium permanganate solutions respectively, and finally decolorize them with oxalic acid solution and wash them with water. The mercurochrome stains will be removed.

5. Removal of gentian violet stains

The main ingredient in gentian violet is extracted from gentian, so gentian violet is also called gentian violet. It is a commonly used topical agent. When it is stained on clothes, it is purple-blue in color and very conspicuous.

The removal method is: soak the clothes in water, wring them out slightly, and use a cotton swab dipped in 20% oxalic acid solution to apply the stain from the inside out. After soaking for a while, you can rinse and rub it repeatedly with clean water and the stains will be removed. In addition, for some white fabrics stained with gentian violet, you can first use solvent alcohol to remove the floating color, and then use the oxidizing agent sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide solution for bleaching, and then wash with water to achieve the desired effect.

If stains appear on white clothes, they will be very obvious. Therefore, when we wear white clothes, we must pay great attention to protecting the clothes and try not to let stains appear on the clothes. At the same time, after stains appear, it is best to clean them as soon as possible, so that the cleaning effect will be more obvious.
