5. Removal of gentian violet stains

The main ingredient in gentian violet is extracted from gentian, so gentian violet is also called gentian violet. It is a commonly used topical agent. When it is stained on clothes, it is purple-blue in color and very conspicuous.

The removal method is: soak the clothes in water, wring them out slightly, and use a cotton swab dipped in 20% oxalic acid solution to apply the stain from the inside out. After soaking for a while, you can rinse and rub it repeatedly with clean water and the stains will be removed. In addition, for some white fabrics stained with gentian violet, you can first use solvent alcohol to remove the floating color, and then use the oxidizing agent sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide solution for bleaching, and then wash with water to achieve the desired effect.

If stains appear on white clothes, they will be very obvious. Therefore, when we wear white clothes, we must pay great attention to protecting the clothes and try not to let stains appear on the clothes. At the same time, after stains appear, it is best to clean them as soon as possible, so that the cleaning effect will be more obvious.
