1. Shock

1. Pale skin, cold sweat, and a rapid pulse, such as more than one hundred beats per minute, are signs of shock and indicate possible internal bleeding. 2. One way to deal with shock is to raise the victim's feet to increase blood supply to the body and brain.

3. Keep the injured warm.

4. Notify a doctor immediately or send to the emergency room for treatment.

2. Fracture

1. Observe the fracture site: unable to move normally, pain increases with movement or touching, swelling occurs during work and rest, and then bruising appears.

2. If there are symptoms of shock or respiratory obstruction, they should be treated first.

3. Unless the situation is life-threatening, the injured should not be moved.

4. If there is a wound, cover and bandage it with clean gauze or dressing.

5. Fix the broken bones: Stabilize and support the upper and lower positions of the broken bones, fix the bones with a wooden board or bamboo pole. The length should be longer than the upper and lower joints. Then use a bandage to tie the injured limb to the body.

6. Send to hospital immediately after initial treatment.

3. Unconsciousness

First aid goal: keep breathing unobstructed; send to hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

1. Lay the victim in the recovery position to prevent the tongue from blocking the throat and to facilitate the discharge of vomit.

2. Keep the air circulating and remove the tight clothing of the injured person, such as the neck and throat buttons.

3. Keep the airway open and clear objects from the mouth, such as food, vomit, and loose dentures.

4. Check breathing, pulse, level of consciousness and injuries. If breathing and heartbeat stop, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
