Can patients with kidney disease take a hot spring bath?

The so-called kidney disease, also known as nephrotic syndrome, is a common disease, which is often caused by a series of symptoms due to the increased permeability of the patient's glomerular basement membrane due to various reasons. Patients with kidney disease often have large amounts of proteinuria or hypoproteinemia, which can easily lead to edema in the body. It should be noted that if children develop kidney disease, their lives may be in danger. Patients with kidney disease can take a hot spring bath appropriately, but of course they have many other issues to pay attention to.

People always think that winter is a good time to take a hot spring bath. Some people soaked in hot springs for more than two hours, and the next day red spots appeared on their legs and backs, and their skin felt dry and peeling. The climate is dry in winter, the temperature drops, the sweat glands and sebaceous glands of the skin shrink, and the function of the skin's protective film decreases. Long-term scalding and washing can easily damage the skin's protective film, and it is very easy to cause skin itching or allergies due to stimulation from contact with other substances. The elderly and children have weaker resistance and are more likely to become a high-risk group.

For patients with renal insufficiency, they must pay attention to some winter melon, watermelon and gourd which can be diuretic for those with edema and oliguria, or red bean soup, black bean soup, mung bean soup, or some drinks with sugar to clear away heat and promote diuresis. For some foods that can moisten the intestines and promote bowel movements, such as honey, bananas, raw pears, radishes, walnut meat, black sesame, etc., people with normal urine volume, amniotic fluid, or renal failure must pay attention to eating more green vegetables and fruits, so as to better supply adequate vitamins.

Patients need to have enough patience and confidence in treatment and maintenance, so I think that as a kidney patient, you must have a good attitude when dealing with your own disease, and the same applies to any other disease. Moreover, if the patient himself has mood swings, it is not conducive to the recovery of kidney disease.

It should be noted that some kidney disease patients will also have cardiovascular system symptoms or heart problems. In this case, they are not suitable for taking a hot spring bath. This is because the body's circulation will speed up when taking a hot spring bath, and the myocardial oxygen consumption will increase. At this time, taking a hot spring bath can easily cause an attack of cardiovascular system diseases, which is not good for patients.
