What are the disadvantages of nail polish

Many female friends who love beauty know that manicure is the most popular thing nowadays, but what is used in manicure is nail polish, which can make your nails particularly beautiful, so most female friends will apply some nail polish on their nails, which will make their hands look more slender, but in fact, nail polish is also harmful to our body, because nail polish contains many chemical substances, so if it is applied many times, it will cause some bad reactions.

1. Damage nails, making them yellow and dull

Nail polish has a variety of beautiful colors because a large amount of pigment ingredients are added, including various mineral pigments, artificial synthetic pigments, etc.

These pigments slowly attach to the nails, causing them to become darker, yellower and duller. The darker the nail polish, the more obvious the pigmentation phenomenon is.

2. Dry, inflamed, and barbed finger edges

Failure to thoroughly disinfect manicure tools can indirectly cause fungal infections between the nails. On the other hand, the chemical solvent components in nail polish can irritate the skin around the nails.

The cuticle of the fingertips hardens and is easily damaged by slight damage during the manicure process, which can easily lead to inflammation, dryness or hangnails, and in severe cases even lead to paronychia.

3. The smell of nail polish is toxic and makes people dizzy

Some nail polishes contain a large amount of acetone and ethyl acetate. These two ingredients are highly volatile, producing a dizzying and irritating odor (their volume will expand 1000 times after volatilization), and are highly irritating to the mucous membranes and nervous system.

4. Make nails brittle, break into layers, and grow slowly

Continuously applying nail polish will hinder the "normal breathing" of the nails and damage the keratin cells of the nails. Due to the lack of oxygen caused by poor breathing and the chronic corrosion of nail polish, the nails will naturally become thinner, more easily broken and grow slowly.

Even the pungent smell emitted after opening the nail polish is toxic, because it contains a lot of acetone, which is extremely volatile. If you smell it for a long time, it will make people feel dizzy and have a special headache. Therefore, it has a very strong stimulation to our nervous system. It is best not to apply nail polish frequently, so as not to cause physical illness.
