How to clean oil stains

Especially people who are engaged in repair work often have a lot of oil stains on their clothes, which makes it very difficult to clean them every time. Some oil stains cannot be cleaned at all. If you look closely, you can see a slightly yellow area, which is the oil stain that has not been cleaned. Therefore, you must use the simplest, easiest and most effective method to clean it.

Vegetable soup stains

When clothes are stained with soup, you must immediately soak the clothes in cold water for a few minutes, then rub soap on the stain and scrub it. If it is an old stain, use an old toothbrush dipped in gasoline to rub the stained area to remove the grease first, then soak the stain in 1:5 ammonia solution and rub it.

Gum stains

First put the clothes stained with chewing gum into a plastic bag and freeze them in the refrigerator for a few hours. After the chewing gum on the clothes becomes hard, take it out and gently rub it to remove it. If there is still a little bit that cannot be removed, use cotton dipped in white vinegar and gently scrub the area to remove it.

Vinegar and soy sauce stains

For stains of vinegar, soy sauce, etc. on clothes, you can take fresh lotus root, squeeze out the lotus root juice and rub it, then wash with clean water to remove the oil stains.

Lipstick stains

If women accidentally get lipstick stains on their clothes, they can use an old toothbrush dipped in a little soda water to scrub the contaminated area. After removing the grease, wash it with detergent and warm water.

Animal and plant oil stains

If clothes are stained with animal or plant oils, you can apply toothpaste on the stain, rub it gently a few times, and then wash it with water, and the oil stain can be removed.

Tips: This method can also be used on clothes with ballpoint pen stains.

The above article explains in detail how to clean oil stains. If your clothes are really stained with oil, you can use the most common toothpaste to clean them, because the ingredients in toothpaste are alkaline, and it is better than other laundry detergents.
