How to eat Cordyceps sinensis

There are many ways to eat Cordyceps sinensis. The more traditional way is to steam it in water, cook it over low heat, or use Cordyceps sinensis to make wine. You can also stew Cordyceps sinensis with old duck soup. Some people even chew and eat Cordyceps sinensis directly. Some people grind Cordyceps sinensis into powder, put the powder into capsules, and make Cordyceps capsules for human consumption. Here’s how to eat Cordyceps sinensis.

Steaming: Wash the Cordyceps and steam it in a container over low heat for 20-30 minutes. (You can also cook it directly with water over low heat). Cordyceps wine: Soak 10 grams of cordyceps in 1 jin of white wine. Seal it for 15 days and drink a small cup every morning and evening. Cook porridge or steam rice: Use 1 gram of Cordyceps sinensis, wash it, put it into a pressure cooker and steam it together with rice before eating. Take once or twice a day for 3 to 6 months. This prescription will have a good effect as an auxiliary treatment for hepatitis B virus (HBV) big triple positive and small triple positive as traditional Chinese medicine.

Stewing (steaming) with meat: When stewing (steaming) meat, put Cordyceps into the meat (in the belly of duck or pigeon) and stew over low heat until the meat is cooked. Cordyceps duck: use 1-2g of cordyceps, an old male duck, remove the hair and internal organs, split the duck head, put the cordyceps in it, tie it with thread, add soy sauce and wine, steam it as usual and eat it. This recipe is used to nourish yin and tonify the kidney. It is suitable for symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, deafness, toothache, insomnia and irritability, hot hands and feet, cough and asthma, and pain in the waist and knees. It can also be used as an auxiliary treatment for hepatitis B, neurasthenia, tuberculosis, diabetes, diabetes insipidus, lupus erythematosus, etc.

Cordyceps can also be used to stew chicken. Choose 1 to 2 grams of cordyceps, then choose a black-bone chicken, remove the chicken feathers and internal organs, and then stew the cordyceps and black-bone chicken together over low heat. Stewing black-bone chicken with Cordyceps can be very effective in nourishing the kidneys and strengthening yang. Some people often feel dizzy, or have poor memory, or always have palpitations. At this time, stewing black-bone chicken with Cordyceps sinensis will be very effective.
