Why do my hands always sweat?

Why do my hands always sweat?

Many people always have sweaty palms in summer or winter. Everyone knows that sweating in the summer is caused by high temperature, but why does it happen in the winter? This is what many people don’t understand, so this issue has attracted everyone’s attention, and many people are worried that there may be something wrong with their health. So, why do your palms always sweat? Let’s take a look at it together:

1. Spontaneous sweating

One of the reasons is what we often call spontaneous sweating in our daily life. This sweating is not caused by the hot weather, but is mainly caused by taking sweating drugs and other stimulating factors, which leads to frequent sweating. We call this spontaneous sweating. Experts remind that most of these patients suffer from weak lung qi, weak Wei Yang, and leakage of body fluids, so these aspects must be effectively adjusted in daily life. In addition, these patients will often experience symptoms of yang deficiency such as fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and chills.

There are many reasons for spontaneous sweating. In addition to the factors such as abandonment and weakness mentioned above, some children with rickets and patients with hyperthyroidism may also sweat in their hands and soles due to spontaneous sweating in their daily lives.

2. Sweating

Many people also often experience spontaneous sweating in their daily lives, which is especially common in winter. As the name suggests, "night sweats" are more common in deficiency syndromes. It can occur alone or in the course of multiple diseases. Chinese medicine points out that "sweat is the fluid of the heart". If a patient sweats too much or spontaneous sweating or night sweats last too long, it will lead to loss of vital energy, causing the patient to experience symptoms such as mental fatigue, pale complexion, and weakness in the limbs.

In addition, patients who often sweat often have symptoms of yin and yang imbalance, such as loss of appetite, susceptibility to colds, and frequent dreams. If this continues for a long time, it will seriously damage the body's physical and mental health and may even induce other diseases.

3. Night sweats

If sweating occurs while you are awake, we call it spontaneous sweating, but if sweating occurs during sleep, we call it night sweats. Night sweats is the name of a disease in traditional Chinese medicine, which mostly refers to a symptom characterized by abnormal sweating after falling asleep and stopping sweating after waking up. "Night sweats" means stealing. Ancient Chinese medical science used the metaphor of a thief sneaking around at night to describe the symptoms of this disease, which occurs when people fall asleep or just as they close their eyes and are about to fall asleep, in other words, sweat secretly leaks out like a thief.

Patients with night sweats may also experience sweating in the palms and soles of their feet. Some patients sweat as soon as they fall asleep, while others sweat after midnight. When it comes to sweating on the palms and soles of the feet, night sweats are one of the common reasons.

4. Mild night sweats

If the night sweats are mild, then the sweating of the palms and soles of the feet will not be very obvious. These patients often sweat easily when they are deep in sleep, at around 5 a.m., or 1 to 2 hours before waking up, and the amount of sweat is less. They only feel a little sweat all over the body or certain parts of the body after waking up. After fully waking up, no sweat will be secreted again, and there are generally no symptoms of discomfort.

The above content points out the possible causes of sweaty palms and soles of feet in winter, which are actually very easy to occur in life. Basically, they are all related to the body's physical constitution, and the body itself does not have any major health problems. What everyone needs to understand is that strengthening physical exercise is very helpful.
