What is a cardiac emergency kit?

We all know that some diseases have no warning signs. A person may be healthy and chatting with friends, but the next day he or she may disappear from this world in an instant due to a sudden heart attack. How cruel that is. Therefore, we should not neglect the awareness of disease prevention, and learn simple first aid measures. Next, let me introduce us to the relevant cardiac first aid measures.

As we all know, angina pectoris and myocardial infarction are both severe. If not treated in time, the patient is in danger of sudden death. The first aid kit is a miniature first aid medicine box designed for sudden attacks of coronary heart disease.

The first aid kit generally contains five kinds of medicines, namely: amyl nitrite, nitroglycerin tablets, isopropyl nitrite tablets, dipyridamole tablets and diazepam tablets. The first four are drugs that dilate coronary arteries to improve myocardial blood supply. Dipansan also has an anti-platelet aggregation effect, thus helping to eliminate blood clots. Amyl nitrite can be used when angina pectoris attacks suddenly. When using, break the medicine tube into a sponge or handkerchief and move it close to the nose for inhalation. It will take effect within half a minute: 0.2 ml per tube, use 1 tube each time, but do not use it more than 5 times a day. Nitroglycerin tablets also act very quickly, taking effect two or three minutes after administration, and are effective in relieving or preventing angina attacks; each tablet is 0.5 mg, placed under the tongue and dissolved, 1 tablet each time, do not use more than 4 times a day. Xiaoxintong tablets have the functions of preventing and treating angina pectoris. They can be held under the tongue to relieve angina pectoris. They take effect within about 2 minutes and the efficacy can last for about 4 hours. Each tablet is 5 mg. 1 to 2 tablets can be dissolved in the tongue at a time, 3 to 4 times a day. Dipyridamole is also used to prevent and treat angina pectoris, myocardial infarction and disseminated intravascular coagulation; each tablet is 25 mg, 1 to 4 tablets are taken each time, 3 times a day. However, because it has antiplatelet aggregation effects, it should be used with caution or not used in patients with bleeding tendencies.

When angina pectoris occurs, medication should be used as early as possible, as this is the key to whether the condition can recover and maintain life. Therefore, the first aid kit must be carried with you and placed in a fixed and easy-to-access pocket, preferably an underwear pocket. Of course, patients with more serious coronary heart disease, especially those who are elderly and have difficulty walking, should not leave the hospital or their families, nor should they go out alone on the streets or to sparsely populated places. You should also place the first aid kit next to your pillow when you sleep so that it is within easy reach in case of emergency. In addition, the various medicines in the first aid kit should be checked regularly. Any missing ones should be replenished in time and not put in the wrong place. Expired or discolored ones should be discarded and replaced immediately. Moreover, the medicines in the first aid kit are afraid of light, moisture, etc. and need to be properly stored. There is also a sedative in the first aid kit: Valium tablets, each tablet is 2.5 mg, mainly used for neurosis such as anxiety, fear, insomnia, and epilepsy and convulsions. Take 1 to 2 tablets each time or half an hour before going to bed every night, or take it 3 times a day.

I don’t know if you have fully understood it through my introduction. I hope everyone will spread the word to people around them and raise their own safety awareness. It is extremely necessary to prepare some disease medicines in daily life. No one can predict what will happen in the future, so we must be aware of prevention. But don't worry too much, always maintain an optimistic attitude.
