Can people with alopecia areata drink beer?

At present, more and more people are suffering from hair loss, and the hair loss process is becoming more and more serious. For some people, at the beginning, only a few hairs may fall on the pillow, but later the situation becomes more and more serious, which makes people feel distressed and scared. Alopecia areata is a frightening and distressing condition. But some people may ask, can you drink alcohol while having alopecia areata? In fact, the answer is no. People with alopecia areata should not drink alcohol. After all, some alopecia areata can be adjusted and recovered by themselves. So why can’t people with alopecia areata drink alcohol? There are many reasons.

Causes of alopecia areata include:

1. Mental factors: Most scholars believe that alopecia areata is caused by anxiety, mental stimulation, and environmental changes.

2. Neurological factors: caused by autonomic nervous system or central nervous system disorders. Alopecia areata may occur or worsen after concussion or trauma. Some scholars have found that the rate of EEG abnormalities in patients with alopecia areata is particularly high. It has also been observed that 80% of patients with alopecia areata have abnormal cerebral blood flow maps and poor local blood supply to the scalp. This may be due to the patient's mental stress, which leads to autonomic dysfunction, increased sympathetic nerve tension, and continuous capillary contraction, causing blood circulation disorders in the hair roots and decreased cell function in the seed layer of the hair roots, leading to the onset of the disease.

3. Genetics: About 10% to 20% of people have a family history of alopecia areata. In addition to mother and daughter suffering from the disease, it may also occur in twins.

4. Endocrine abnormalities: There are many people suffering from thyroid disease and alopecia areata, among which the relationship with hyperthyroidism is more closely. Alopecia areata often heals itself during pregnancy, but hair loss may recur after delivery, which is probably related to hormones.

5. Impaired immune function: Some diseases caused by immune system disorders, such as vitiligo vulgaris, diabetes, pernicious anemia, lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis, idiopathic hypothyroidism, etc., are often accompanied by the occurrence of alopecia areata. British scholars have found that the phagocytic function of white blood cells in the peripheral blood vessels of patients with alopecia areata is low and they often have combined autoimmune diseases. In 1977, an American scholar discovered that the number of T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood vessels of patients with alopecia areata was significantly reduced, and T lymphocytes are a system that plays a role in the body's cellular immune function. Clinical and experimental studies have demonstrated that patients with alopecia areata have humoral and cellular immunity and complement systems.

6. Focal infection: An American scholar believes that focal infection can indeed cause baldness, because infection by bacteria and other factors can cause thrombosis in blood vessels or inflammation of small blood vessels, causing hair loss in the area under its control due to obstruction of blood supply. Another scholar also pointed out that the presence of impacted third molars or periapical infection should be considered as a factor of persistent alopecia areata.

Alopecia areata may be caused by the above reasons, but people with alopecia areata also need to maintain their own health. First of all, you must ensure adequate sleep. No matter how stressful the work is, nine hours of sleep a day is a must. Not only the time must be achieved, but the quality of sleep also needs to be guaranteed. In addition, you must also have a reasonable diet and eat more vegetables and fruits, so that you will get better faster.
