What are the symptoms of bronchiectasis and vomiting blood?

Bronchial asthma is relatively common in our daily life, and this disease also has a great impact on the patient's own body. Generally, patients with bronchial asthma have more obvious symptoms, and patients with bronchial asthma should not engage in long-term activities, otherwise it is easy to have an attack. So what are the symptoms of this?

1. Symptoms during an attack: difficulty breathing, especially difficulty in exhalation, which is prolonged and labored, and there is irritability. There is a feeling of tightness in the chest, and the asthma sound can be heard without a stethoscope when it is loud. Each time it lasts for a few hours or for several days. The cough is dry at first, but thick sputum can be discharged later. In severe cases, patients are forced to sit upright or lean forward, shrug their shoulders and gasp for breath, have pale faces, flaring nostrils, blue lips and nails, and even break out in cold sweats. His expression was painful and his neck veins were distended. When exhaling, the upper and lower parts of the sternum bulge out; when inhaling, the upper and lower parts of the sternum, the upper part of the clavicle and the lower part of the thorax are concave.

2. Symptoms during the interval between attacks: No dyspnea, but chest discomfort and difficulty in taking deep breaths. Wheezing may or may not be present. Sometimes all symptoms disappear.

3. Symptoms of chronic diseases: Children who have been ill for many years are short and thin. The anterior-posterior breast diameter increases, etc.

4. Course of disease: Acute attacks are easier to control, but are prone to relapse. The longer the disease lasts, the more severe the attacks become. Some children often have delayed growth and development, poor nutrition and lung function due to frequent recurrences. Some children tend to recover on their own during puberty.

Young children cannot express in detail some of the precursor symptoms before an asthma attack, so the onset is often sudden, and some may first have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection or bronchitis. According to the severity of the disease at the time of onset, it can be divided into three types: mild, moderate and severe. Mild asthma often starts with only an irritating dry cough and a little wheezing, or a choking cough similar to that caused by foreign body inhalation, along with mild wheezing. It can be quickly relieved with oral medications, or it can be relieved on its own without treatment.

For moderate cases, the cough is dry at first, but becomes worse soon after, with more white foamy sputum, and the wheezing gradually worsens, accompanied by expiratory high-pitched musical wheezing. At this time, the sick child will be anxious and restless and cannot lie flat. Older babies like to sit up with their hands on their knees, or support their arms on the table with their heads resting on their arms. Infants and young children like to be held by their parents, with their heads resting on their parents' shoulders, their shoulders shaking, their breathing rate increasing, and their faces pale. Some sick children show symptoms of flushed face and ears, dilated and flaring nostrils, heavy sweating, or expiratory groaning. Their neck and intercostal soft tissues are sunken, their chests are swollen, more wheezing sounds can be heard on both ribs, and percussion of both ribs produces tympanic sounds. The cardiac dullness boundary is not obvious, and the liver dullness area is decreased.

The above is some introduction to vomiting blood due to bronchiectasis. After understanding these symptoms in detail, everyone will be better able to receive treatment. There must not be too much dust in the place where children live, otherwise it will easily cause asthma attacks. Try to keep it moist and clean. Mothers must pay attention to this!
