What are the causes of rough oral cavity

Rough oral cavity is actually a pathological reaction caused by insufficient saliva secretion in the oral cavity. In the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine, this situation is believed to be mainly related to the spleen and lungs, because the spleen opens up to the mouth and the throat is the orifice of the lungs. Therefore, once the spleen and lungs have abnormalities in their organ function, they can cause pathological reactions such as rough oral cavity. So, in addition to the reasons of the spleen and lungs, are there other reasons that lead to the occurrence of this situation?

1. Lichen planus

Lichen planus is a skin and mucous membrane disease. Once this disease occurs, we must pay great attention to it. Because it is a precancerous condition. It means that your oral mucosa has been pathologically damaged, which has caused the mucosa's self-healing and self-repair functions to be impaired, and the mucosa's basic metabolic disorders and decreased immunity. At this time, the mucosal tissue cells will attack and destroy themselves. Chronic lesions form in the basal layer of the submucosal layer. We all know that the oral mucosa is the first line of defense of the human body. The mucosa itself can secrete saliva. The lytic enzymes in the saliva can kill and inactivate external bacteria and viruses, thereby protecting the oral cavity from external stimuli. When pathological damage occurs to the mucosa, the protective ability of the mucosa is lost. This type of papule appears when tissue degeneration occurs in the mucosal epithelial layer.

Second cause of disease:

There are many factors that cause this disease, but many patients have psychological problems such as mental tension, anxiety, insomnia, depression, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, diabetes, hypertension and other diseases caused by bad living habits. All of these can affect the health of the oral mucosa. Bad living habits can increase the incidence of oral lichen planus.

3. Oral ulcers

Oral ulcers caused by lack of trace elements or inflammation.
