What are the symptoms of deep varicose veins?

For those who always watch TV, they must be familiar with deep varicose veins, especially for flight attendants, who are prone to this phenomenon. In the early stages, many patients also feel some discomfort, but they don’t care so much, so they miss the best time for treatment, which seriously affects the treatment. So, what are the symptoms of deep varicose veins?

Simple varicose veins of the lower limbs refers to lesions that are limited to the superficial veins of the lower limbs. The lesions include the great saphenous vein, small saphenous vein and their branches. The vast majority of patients have varicose veins in the great saphenous vein and are clinically diagnosed as varicose veins of the great saphenous vein. The diseased superficial veins appear elongated, dilated, and tortuous, and often occur in people who engage in standing work and physical labor for a long time. Simple varicose veins of the lower extremities are generally mild and surgical treatment can often achieve good results.

In the early stages of the disease, symptoms include soreness, swelling, discomfort and dull pain in the lower limbs, as well as a feeling of heaviness and fatigue. The above feelings often worsen after standing for a long time and can be relieved by lying down or raising the limbs. In the middle and late stages of the disease, the venous wall is damaged, the veins bulge, dilate, and become tortuous, taking on an earthworm-like appearance, which is most obvious in the course of the great saphenous vein on the inner side of the calf. If the disease lasts for a long time, nutritional changes will occur in the skin of the limbs, such as desquamation, itching, pigmentation, and even eczema and ulcers. As the disease progresses, symptoms such as vascular pain, lower limb swelling, congestive dermatitis, and superficial vein thrombosis may occur.

The most common disease among patients is heaviness and soreness in the lower limbs, and sometimes swelling is also prone to occur. You must pay more attention to it in daily life, do not stand for a long time, and pay more attention to rest. If you do not pay attention to rest, it will be very detrimental to your condition. If the condition is serious, you should go to the hospital for treatment.
