What causes hair loss and what should I do?

Wouldn't it be very painful to see a lot of hair falling out every day? Especially for some women who love beauty, it would be very sad if their hair starts to fall out before it grows long. Moreover, if the hair loss is more serious, it may also mean that the body has a more serious illness and needs timely treatment. So, what are the reasons for hair loss? What should we do? It is best to use traditional Chinese medicine, which is safer and more effective.

Causes of Hair Loss

1. Androgenic alopecia

It is an autosomal dominant inheritance, and its genetic characteristics are only expressed under the action of androgens.

2. Neurogenic hair loss

When mental stress is too great, hair loss often increases. Under the influence of mental stress, the body's arrector pili muscles contract, the hair stands upright, the autonomic or central nervous system functions become disordered, the hair follicles' hair papilla changes and becomes malnourished, resulting in the inhibition of hair growth function, the hair entering the resting phase and hair loss.

3. Endocrine hair loss

Hair growth is affected by a variety of endocrine hormones, so when endocrine abnormalities occur, it often causes hair loss diseases, such as postpartum and menopausal hair loss.

4. Nutritional hair loss

Hair is an outward manifestation of physical condition. Malnutrition and abnormal metabolism can cause changes in hair quality and color. Severe malnutrition can even lead to diffuse hair loss.

5. Physical hair loss

Common physical factors that cause hair loss include mechanical stimulation and exposure to radioactive substances.

6. Chemical hair loss

Chemical factors can cause changes in hair color or even hair loss.

7. Infectious hair loss

Infection by various pathogens is an important factor in hair diseases, mainly including infections by bacteria, viruses, fungi, spirochetes, parasites, etc.

8. Symptomatic hair loss

Certain systemic or local diseases may be associated with hair loss.

9. Congenital hair loss

Developmental defects cause complete loss or thinning of hair. Patients often have sparse and thin hair, or have normal hair at birth that falls out soon and does not grow back. It can be divided into isolated defects and other deformities.

10. Seasonal hair loss

Generally, hair loss is more likely in summer because the high temperature causes the pores to expand, leading to hair loss. Hair loss is less likely in autumn and winter because the temperature drops and the pores close.

TCM Treatment for Hair Loss

[Formula 1] 90 grams each of cypress twig (dried medicine), pepper kernel, and pinellia. Add 500 ml of water to the medicine, boil it until 250 ml, add a little honey, and boil it for 1-2 more times. When using, add a little raw ginger juice, mix well, and apply to hairless areas, twice a day.

[Formula 2] Alum and Curcuma aromatica in equal parts. Make pills with alum and turmeric, 4-5 grams each time, twice a day.

[Formula 3] 15 grams of salt. Add salt to 1500 ml of warm water, stir well, and wash your hair 1-2 times a week. Long-term use of this method can prevent hair loss.

[Formula 4] 3 Torreya nuts, 2 walnuts, and 30 grams of Platycladus orientalis leaves. Mash the medicine together and soak it in snow water, and comb your hair. The hair will not fall out and will be shiny. This prescription is particularly suitable for hair loss caused by kidney deficiency.

[Square Five] Several Platycladus orientalis leaves. Dry the cypress leaves in the shade, grind them into powder, and soak them in spring oil. Dip the brush head in each halberd, and after the hair grows out, wash your hair with pig bile and human soup. This recipe is particularly suitable for women with hair loss.

If you have hair loss problems, it is best not to wear a hat when you go out, because wearing a hat will make your hair breathable and your hair will naturally be damaged. Another thing is to eat more vegetables and fruits, so as not to easily cause constipation. You should know that constipation is also one of the culprits of hair loss, so you must pay attention to it.
