I suddenly want to pee, and I want to pee very much. I am about to pee, but before I even get to the toilet, I have already wet my pants. I believe many people have had similar experiences. The inability to hold back urine is also called urinary incontinence. This situation exists not only in modern times but also in ancient times. Women’s urethras are much shorter than men’s, so they are more likely to suffer from urinary incontinence. When such situations occur in life, we must not ignore them. So, what’s the problem with not being able to hold your urine? Stress urinary incontinence is also called tension urinary incontinence. When the abdominal pressure suddenly increases due to coughing, laughing, sneezing, etc., urine loses control and flows out involuntarily. This is the most common type of urinary incontinence among women. It can occur in people of all ages, especially in women who have had difficult labor or who suffer from uterine prolapse, bladder and urethral prolapse. This may be related to reduced bladder capacity or sphincter relaxation. The detrusor muscle of the bladder is composed of smooth muscle fibers with elasticity and viscoelasticity. The sphincter in the human body can close the lumen when contracting and open the lumen when relaxing. It is usually in a contracted state and is generally controlled by autonomic nerves or regulated by hormones. For urinary incontinence patients whose symptoms are not too severe and who are relatively young, pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training can be performed. The pelvic floor muscles can be consciously contracted and relaxed rhythmically to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve the ability of female friends to consciously control these muscles. This has a certain effect on urinary incontinence, but if the symptoms of urinary incontinence are moderate or severe, drug treatment or surgical treatment will be required. Symptoms of urethritis: When women suffer from chronic urethritis, the main manifestations are redness and swelling of the external urethral opening, and there will be serous or purulent secretions on the surface. Chronic urethritis generally does not cause fever symptoms, but there will be symptoms such as pain after urination, urgency, frequent urination, turbid urine, etc. The frequency of urination is generally maintained at every few minutes. When urinating, there will be a burning sensation and pain in the urethra. Sometimes the pain symptoms radiate to the lower abdomen or perineum. Some patients have turbid urine and sometimes there is hematuria. If chronic urethritis is complicated by upper urinary tract infection (pyelonephritis), the patient will have symptoms such as chills, low back pain and turbid urine. Some patients will also have digestive tract symptoms, such as loss of appetite, and may also have systemic symptoms such as fever. Many diseases are not easy to be detected at the beginning, or are not taken seriously by everyone. If people fail to take timely measures, it may cause irreversible consequences. This also reminds us not to be afraid of seeing a doctor when we are sick. If we are sick, we must go to the hospital for treatment in time and not delay the treatment. |
