Analysis of measles-rubella combined vaccine

Analysis of measles-rubella combined vaccine

Measles-rubella and bivalent vaccines are a way to prevent this disease. After all, the emergence of this disease will naturally have a relatively large impact and harm on our health. Therefore, everyone should pay attention to scientific knowledge and understanding of this vaccination, because vaccination is the only way to prevent measles and rubella from causing harm to our health.

Measles and rubella combined live attenuated vaccine - Measles and rubella combined live attenuated vaccine

The measles and rubella combined live attenuated vaccine (MR for short) is a combined vaccine used to prevent two acute infectious diseases, measles and rubella, in children. Before the use of measles and rubella vaccines, the incidence and mortality of measles were extremely high, posing a great threat to children's health. Although rubella has mild symptoms and a good prognosis, rubella infection in pregnant women can cause serious consequences such as fetal growth retardation and fetal malformations and has attracted much attention. Since both measles and rubella vaccines are live vaccines prepared by proliferating viruses in tissue culture cells, it is possible to develop a combined vaccine.

The use of combination vaccines can reduce the cost of vaccination and reduce the number of vaccinations children need. Increasing immunization coverage to accelerate the vaccine's disease prevention and control effects has good economic and social benefits.

The measles-rubella combined live attenuated vaccine was first successfully developed in China by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products. The rubella vaccine BRDⅡ strain was a virus strain isolated and prepared by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products in 1980 and was approved for production in 1993. The measles vaccine HU-191 strain was developed by the Shanghai Institute of Biological Products and approved for use in 1966. A large number of human vaccination reactions and effect observations have proved that these two vaccines have good tolerance and produce strong persistent immunity. The measles and rubella combined live attenuated vaccine is not a simple mixture of the above two vaccines, but has undergone a lot of research work to improve the titer and stability of the measles virus and reselect the protective agent of the virus. In order to ensure that both vaccines have satisfactory titers, different ratios of the two vaccine concentrates were tested to determine the optimal ratio of the two. The measles and rubella combined live attenuated vaccine will promote the research and development of a series of combined vaccines by our institute in the future.

I hope that after reading the above analysis and introduction, everyone can pay special attention to these issues. In daily life, we should learn more about these common sense, so that even when we encounter problems, we can deal with them effectively, because after all, the impact and harm caused by this disease are relatively large.
