Treatment method of tooth nerve extraction

Treatment method of tooth nerve extraction

In fact, many people nowadays do not pay attention to their physical health, which will lead to sub-health status of their bodies, especially diseases on teeth. Most people will not pay attention to them. Let us learn about the treatment method of dental nerve extraction.

Treatment:

Root canal treatment of teeth means cutting the nerves. First, fully expose the pulp cavity of the tooth. If the pulp is vital and painful, apply a chronic devitalizing agent. Come back for a follow-up visit half a month later to remove the devitalizing agent and extract the nerves. The nerves are 3-4 posterior teeth. After extraction, the roots are expanded and sealed with drugs to disinfect the root canals. Come back for a follow-up visit after 5 days to do a root filling. This basically completes the treatment. If you want the tooth to live a long life, you should do a crown restoration.

These two methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, which should be determined according to the actual clinical situation. If your root canal is normal, you will usually use anesthesia to remove the nerves, and there will generally be no residual pulp, so you can rest assured. If your root canal is deformed, there will be residual pulp when using anesthesia. At this time, the doctor will use drugs to directly kill the nerves, which is thorough.

For the treatment of caries and deep caries, after the carious tissue is completely removed, sometimes the bottom of the cavity is close to the pulp (dental nerve), so it is necessary to add a layer of pulp protector to the bottom of the cavity before filling. Sometimes, after the carious tissue is completely removed, the pulp is exposed in deep caries, so endodontic treatment is required before filling.

It is OK to kill nerves with drugs. I choose to kill nerves with drugs, but it takes a long time, at least three times. If you don't have time, choose to extract nerves under anesthesia, don't worry too much! Extracting nerves means extracting the pulp of this tooth. If there are residual nerves, will they decay and cause the tooth to have symptoms again? You don't have to worry about this. When filling a tooth, your materials are placed in the root canal (where the tooth nerve used to be), and the materials have a sterilizing effect, so don't worry too much.

The above article gives you a detailed introduction to the treatment method of dental nerve extraction. I believe you already have a relatively preliminary understanding. So in normal times, if you encounter such a situation, you should not take it lightly.
