Late night snacks and excessive drinking are strictly prohibited

The first step before going to bed: It is strictly forbidden to eat supper before going to bed. If you don’t want to find your face swollen like a pancake when you wake up in the morning, you must resist eating for two hours before going to bed, especially foods with high salt content, which are more likely to make you edema.

Step 2 before going to bed: Choose your bedtime drink carefully

Although drinking a little wine before bed can help sleep and health, drinking too much will cause blood vessels to dilate and cause edema. Especially mixed alcohol, sugary soda and fruit juice are more likely to cause swelling. If you really want to drink something flavorful, try fennel tea, mint tea or chamomile tea, which can help relieve bloating, or try grapefruit juice with a little mustard, which is also good for the skin, but don't overdo it!

The third step before going to bed: remove makeup carefully and wash your face twice. If you don’t want to find that your eye makeup was not removed cleanly and you have panda eyes when you wake up the next day, you can wash your face twice the day before. For the first application, use a cream-based makeup remover to remove makeup, and then use a gel-based facial cleanser to remove oil stains. After washing your face, apply moisturizing products immediately to prevent your skin from becoming too dry.

Step 4 before bed: Give your eyes some caffeine

If you want to reduce eye edema and improve dark circles, there are many rumored tips, such as applying tea bags, hot spoons, etc. There is a basis for these rumors, as the caffeine in tea bags can constrict blood vessels, thus reducing dark circles under the eyes. But of course we do not recommend using tea bags. Instead, you can choose an eye cream containing the same ingredients, which will make you feel safer when using it.

In life, you can perform your own skin care according to the above-introduced steps before going to bed. For friends with rough skin and large pores on the face, you can choose to use a more delicate facial cleanser for cleaning.
