Will eating mango cause chest tightness?

Mango is a fruit that many people like to eat. Mango is a tropical fruit that contains a lot of dietary fiber and vitamin A. It is extremely beneficial to human health and also has some anti-cancer effects. Mango is golden in color, rich in nutrients, and has a delicate taste. It is a rare delicacy among fruits. Although mangoes have many benefits, some people may experience side effects after eating them. So, will eating mangoes cause chest tightness?

Most people will not experience chest tightness after eating mangoes, but people who are allergic to mangoes will experience chest tightness symptoms if they accidentally eat mangoes.

Mango trees belong to the Anacardiaceae family, and this type of tree is prone to causing allergies. Mangoes also contain a large amount of protein and alkali, especially the aldehyde acid contained in unripe mangoes, which can easily cause contact dermatitis, also known as mango dermatitis.

In order to facilitate transportation, mangoes must be picked when they are 70% ripe at the latest and then ripened. Raw mangoes are prone to allergies, and with the addition of ripening agents, allergies are even more likely to occur.

Which varieties of mangoes are more likely to cause allergies? Experts say that different people have different physical conditions and are allergic to different mango varieties. Maybe you were not allergic to Tainong mangoes before, but you will be allergic if you switch to golden mangoes, ivory mangoes, etc. Moreover, mango is a photosensitive fruit and is best eaten only at night.

There is a rule for allergies: there is no problem with the first time you eat it, but an allergic reaction will occur the second time, and each subsequent time will be more severe than the last. When you eat mango for the first time, your body will determine whether you are allergic to it, and then put a “wanted poster” on it, and you will be “caught” when you eat it for the second time. At the beginning, there are usually itching, redness, swelling and blisters around the lips, and maybe next time there will be laryngeal edema. The severity of the allergy has nothing to do with how much you eat. Sometimes just a small bite of mango can be fatal.

Therefore, people who are allergic to mangoes must not eat mangoes, otherwise it may cause harm to the body.
