Why do I burp when I smoke?

Many people are troubled by hiccups. They will hiccup when they smoke, which completely disrupts their interest in smoking. Smoking and burping while doing business can also affect many things. But what you may not know is that burping after smoking indicates the presence of chronic gastritis. As long as there is a trigger, it will occur. The following three solutions are for your reference:

First, eliminate chronic inflammation.

Second, improve the symptoms of insufficient gastric motility and weakened intestinal peristalsis.

Third, eliminate temptations, for example, your most likely trigger is smoking.

Infection with Helicobacter pylori is one of the causes of chronic gastritis. Weakened gastric emptying function leads to stagnation of gastric contents, which reflexively causes excessive secretion of gastric acid and damages the gastric mucosa. Long-term smoking, drinking and irregular lifestyle are often related to the onset of chronic gastritis. The remaining stomach after most of the stomach is removed is prone to chronic gastritis. This is because the pyloric sphincter loses its function as a one-way valve after removal, allowing bile to flow freely in and out of the body.

At the same time, the following situations can also induce hiccups.

1. You may eat too much and too fast, swallowing air, which expands the stomach and stimulates the diaphragm, causing hiccups;

2. The diaphragm between the chest and abdomen is stimulated and contracts violently, which increases the abdominal pressure and squeezes out the air in the stomach, causing hiccups.

3. Most hiccups are self-limiting and short-lived, so no further examination is needed. If hiccups last for several hours, the whole day, or even several days, you should go to the hospital for further examination.

I can also teach you a quick way to stop hiccups: take a deep breath until you can't take any more, hold your breath for 1 second, then slowly swallow the air. Do this 3 times in a row. It works every time and will stop your hiccups.

If you really burp whenever you smoke, it is best to smoke less or not smoke at all. This is not only good for the body, but can also effectively suppress hiccups. Isn't it great to kill two birds with one stone? Although quitting smoking is difficult and very difficult, it can avoid a lot of unnecessary troubles, and there will be more benefits to quitting smoking.
