1. Pituitary gland: growth hormone

After that, the thymus gradually degenerates, the lymphocytes decrease, and the adipose tissue increases, reaching only 15 grams in old age.

Its basic function is to mark each cell with a recognizable mark to prevent immune cells from rebelling and destroying our body's own cells, enabling the body to resist the spread of disease.

6. Adrenal glands: adrenaline

The adrenal glands are located just above the kidneys. They can cause the body to generate heat suddenly. The adrenal glands are particularly important when emergencies occur. When facing danger or urgent events, such as fighting the enemy, rescuing a child who is about to drown, escaping a fire, etc., the adrenal glands will immediately deliver their secretions (i.e. adrenaline) into the blood. Adrenaline can accelerate the heartbeat, dilate blood vessels, and flow into the muscles with the blood. 7. Pancreas: Insulin

The pancreas is scattered among the pancreatic digestive acini. It secretes a digestive hormone called insulin, which reduces the sugar content in the blood.
