7 small behaviors for health and longevity are better than food therapy

Regardless of ancient or modern times, health preservation has always been the way for people to maintain health. Modern people focus on diet therapy and medicine to maintain their health, however, their lifestyle remains the same and there is no obvious improvement in their mental and physical strength. In fact, there are 7 and a half steps in TCM health preservation. 1. Massage the kidneys: Keep yourself 20 years old forever

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that kidney deficiency will lead to physical weakness. Massaging the kidney area can nourish the kidney and prevent premature aging.

Office workers are prone to back pain due to long periods of sitting. Catch a cold in the waist can also cause back pain. It can also be caused by lumbar muscle strain or kidney deficiency. When the weather is cold, low back pain is more likely to occur. Be aware that massaging with cold hands can make your lower back pain worse.

Method: Rub your hands warm before massaging the kidney area, then rub the kidney area under the ribs on both sides of the lower back up and down 36 times, once in the morning and once in the evening.

2. Anal lifting: reduce the recurrence of anal diseases

Anal lifting exercises are for preventing and treating anal diseases. They can improve blood circulation in the pelvic cavity, reduce the recurrence of anal diseases, and also have a good therapeutic effect on constipation. Because during the anal lifting exercise, the indirect contraction of the muscles acts as a "pump", which can relax the anal sphincter and enhance its contraction ability. Anal lifting exercises can also make menstrual blood flow more smoothly and reduce the occurrence of dysmenorrhea.

Method: Sit, lie on your back or stand with your legs apart. Focus on the perineum and anus. Contract the abdomen, buttocks and pelvic floor muscles. Tighten and loosen, lift and release the anus with your breathing. Contract and lift the anus when inhaling, and relax when exhaling. Do this 20-30 times a day after defecation, in the morning, or before going to bed at night. Do this for 30 days in a row, then rest for 7 days before continuing.

3. Abdominal massage: promote lymphatic circulation

The abdomen is where the internal organs are located. It not only houses various organs such as the liver, spleen, intestines, stomach, gallbladder, kidneys, and bladder, but also has meridians such as the Ren Mai passing through it. It is considered to be the source of yin and yang, qi and blood. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that persistent abdominal massage can harmonize the upper and lower parts, regulate yin and yang, remove the old and welcome the new, enrich the five internal organs, eliminate exogenous pathogenic factors, and eliminate internal phlegm.

Abdominal massage can improve obesity, promote lymphatic circulation, and has a good health care effect on people who sit for a long time and are prone to diseases such as indigestion, constipation, and gastroptosis.

Method: You can lie on your back or sit, take a few deep breaths, relax your muscles, and eliminate distracting thoughts. Then place your right hand on your navel and your left hand on the back of your right hand. With the navel as the center, apply a little force and massage in a clockwise direction, from small to large, and then from large to small, for 50 times in a row. Then switch the positions of your left and right hands and massage counterclockwise for 50 times. Repeat this 3-5 times.

4. Kneading the spine: Strengthening the spleen and stomach

Due to busy and stressful lives, many people have poor gastrointestinal function, which leads to annoying problems such as obesity, constipation, and bad breath. In severe cases, it can also cause torturous diseases such as gastric ulcers and chronic gastritis.

Pinching the spine can dredge the meridians, adjust yin and yang, promote the circulation of qi and blood, improve the functions of internal organs, and is especially effective in strengthening the spleen and stomach.

Method: There are three key points to follow when pinching the spine. Maintain a prone or semi-prone posture with the goal of making the back relaxed and flat. The area for pinching the spine is the midline of the spine, from the coccyx to the seventh cervical vertebra. The most stimulating technique is to lift the skin up forcefully after pinching it three times.

5. Walking: A shortcut to longevity

Walking can improve blood circulation. Take a walk after meals and live to be 99. Take time to take a 30-minute walk every day. It is very helpful for blood circulation and lymphatic circulation throughout the body, and is beneficial for detoxification, sleep aid, and increasing vitality.
