Love to sulk and massage the soles of the feet For those who are prone to sulking, anxiety, and upset, massaging the soles of their feet can quickly make them refreshed and calm. This is because this is the location of Taichong acupoint, one of the important acupoints on the liver meridian of the foot, also known as the "Xiaoqi point". It is located between the big toe and the second toe, 1/2 of the instep (as shown in Figure 1). Use the tip of your thumb to vigorously massage the acupoints on both sides to produce a strong feeling of soreness and swelling in the local area. Massage for 3 to 5 minutes each time. When you are about to get angry, scratch your palm When a person is about to lose his temper, he can lightly clench his fist and use his middle finger to scratch the palm of his hand (as shown in Figure 2) for 1 to 2 minutes, which can help clear the heat in his heart. Because this is the location of the Laogong point, which belongs to the Hand Jueyin Pericardium Meridian, the pericardium meridian plays a protective role on the heart. Massaging the Laogong point can calm the mind, soothe the nerves, and refresh the brain. When you are under great work pressure and feel physically and mentally exhausted, you can also massage the palms to speed up blood circulation and eliminate fatigue. Angry and bloated rub calf When you feel bloated due to anger, you can massage the outside of your calves, which can eliminate the foul air in your stomach and intestines and help relieve gas. Because this is the location of the Zusanli acupoint, it is four finger widths away from the depression below the outer side of the patella (as shown in Figure 3). When you are angry and bloated, press the Zusanli acupoint with your thumb or middle finger for 5 to 10 minutes, 15 to 20 times per minute, until you feel soreness, swelling and heat. I was so angry that I was shaking and rubbing the soles of my feet If you are shaking all over due to anger, massaging the soles of your feet can help calm your nerves. Because there is an important acupuncture point in the human body here—Yongquan Point. It is the head of the kidney meridian and is located on the sole of the foot, in the front 1/3 of the sole, in the depression when the toes are flexed (as shown in Figure 4). When you are angry, rub the Yongquan acupoints on the soles of your feet with the thumbs of both hands for about 10 minutes. This can help your qi and blood flow smoothly and your temper will naturally disappear. Emotionally excited, pressing the top of the head If you feel yourself starting to get emotional and have symptoms like headaches, dizziness, chest tightness, insomnia, etc., you may want to sit down and massage the top of your head to release the "anger" at the "source". There is an important acupuncture point on the top of the head, namely Baihui Point, which is located at the intersection of the midline of the top of the head and the line connecting the two ear tips (as shown in Figure 5). Press it with both fingers for 7 seconds and then release it, repeating 7 times. This can relieve symptoms and refresh the mind. |
