2. Place the wrapped buns in the steamer, bring to a boil over high heat and steam for about 5 minutes.

Tips

1. For pork, it is best to choose front leg meat that is 30% fat and 70% lean. It is not suitable to use only lean meat.

2. Adding an appropriate amount of lotus root will make the meat filling more crispy.

3. There is no need to stir the filling of the buns until it is very strong, just stir it until it is just stirred, so that the texture will be fluffier.

4. Because these buns are not made with leavened dough, there is no need to let them rise after wrapping, just steam them directly.
