Ureaplasma urealyticum positive

Ureaplasma urealyticum positive

Ureaplasma urealyticum is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse. If a person has multiple sexual partners or has had several unclean sexual lives, he or she will be very likely to be infected with ureaplasma urealyticum. If the human body is infected with this disease, symptoms such as ulceration and itching will appear in the reproductive system. Therefore, when patients find that they are positive for ureaplasma urealyticum, they must be treated immediately.

If the ureaplasma urealyticum test is positive and not treated in time, it is likely to induce urethritis and other diseases in the patient. In male patients, prostatitis may also occur. The main symptom is white droplets at the end of urine, which is quite serious.

A positive Ureaplasma urealyticum test indicates Ureaplasma urealyticum infection. Ureaplasma urealyticum is somewhere between bacteria and viruses in size and structure. The smallest prokaryotic microorganism that can grow and reproduce in the human body. It is currently believed that ureaplasma urealyticum is closely related to the occurrence of non-gonococcal urethritis. Mycoplasma may also parasitize in the urogenital tract of normal people. Some people believe that its pathogenicity is similar to that of conditional pathogens. Ureaplasma urealyticum is a common pathogen of the human urogenital tract and is associated with many urogenital tract infections. Perinatal infection is related to infertility and is one of the pathogens of sexually transmitted diseases, which can lead to infertility in severe cases.

If the test result of Ureaplasma urealyticum is positive, it can be treated with drugs such as penicillins, cephalosporins, tetracyclines, macrolides, aminoglycosides, quinolones and monoamide rings. If it is convenient, you can go to the hospital for a drug sensitivity test.

The incubation period of Ureaplasma urealyticum is 1-3 weeks. The typical acute symptoms are similar to those of other non-gonococcal genitourinary tract infections, including urethral stinging, varying degrees of urgency and frequency of urination, and stinging during urination, especially when the urine is more concentrated. The urethral opening is slightly red and swollen, and the secretions are thin, small in amount, and are serous or purulent. The urethra needs to be squeezed hard to see the secretions overflow. There is often a small amount of mucous secretions at the urethral opening in the morning, or only a scab membrane seals the opening, or a dirty crotch is seen.

To prevent the disease of ureaplasma urealyticum positivity, everyone needs to develop a healthy sexual lifestyle. It is best to wear a condom during sexual intercourse. Also, be careful not to have too many sexual partners. If you have too many sexual partners, it will be very easy to be infected with ureaplasma urealyticum. At the same time, you should also pay attention to personal hygiene in daily life.
