Symptoms of abnormal liver function

Symptoms of abnormal liver function

Everyone is familiar with the liver, but where is the liver located in the body? How important is the liver to the body? Many people are not very clear about this. Some people only know that liver disease is caused by drinking, and some people only know that liver disease is contagious, but they basically don’t know the specific causes. Some patients even contract liver disease without knowing it.

What are the symptoms if the liver function is abnormal? In order to let people know whether they have liver disease or abnormal liver function, today we will talk about the manifestations of abnormal liver function. The specific abnormal manifestations are as follows.

1. Loss of appetite, aversion to greasy food, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, etc.

2. Fatigue, tiredness, drowsiness, etc.

3. The skin, sclera and other tissues turn yellow. When jaundice deepens, urine, sputum, tears and sweat will also turn yellow.

4. Impaired liver function and glucose metabolism can lead to changes in blood lipid levels and reduced cholesterol synthesis and esterification capabilities. Therefore, in case of liver damage, the intake of sugar and other high-calorie foods should be limited as appropriate to avoid overnutrition, which will increase the amount of lipids in the body and predispose to hyperlipidemia or fatty liver, thus aggravating the condition.

5. In severe cases, it may lead to abnormal liver function symptoms such as ascites and pleural effusion.

6. Deficiency of various vitamins can lead to rough skin, night blindness, inflammation of the lips and tongue, edema, skin bleeding, osteoporosis and other manifestations of abnormal liver function.

7. Bleeding tendency such as bleeding gums and nose bleeding.

8. Symptoms of abnormal liver function such as spider nevi, liver palms, dark complexion, etc.

It can be seen from this that if the above phenomena occur, you should go to the hospital for medical treatment and get the most timely and best treatment. Otherwise, there will be many unexpected consequences, which will cause unnecessary damage to your body. Therefore, everyone must protect their bodies, protect their livers, and make themselves healthy, happy and positive people.
