What's wrong with my scalp pain

Scalp pain always occurs from time to time, and I believe many people have this experience. Once there is a problem with your body, you are the one who suffers the pain, so after the illness breaks out, don’t mention how uncomfortable you feel. There are many reasons for scalp pain. Some people have symptoms of illness, while others may experience scalp pain in the morning due to stress or poor sleep. Therefore, for different patients, the causes of the disease are different.

Some diseases may cause not only scalp pain but also discomfort in other parts of the body. If you have occasional scalp pain, don't worry too much. But if some people have scalp pain frequently, you need to be careful, as it may be hypertension.

Headache refers to various pains in the upper part of the head, which is one of the common symptoms of many diseases. Most of them are non-specific. However, some headaches and their associated symptoms/signs may be signals of worsening or serious illness. ① Sudden acute severe headache, which is different from the original chronic recurrent headache. ② Progressively worsening subacute headache, the course of the disease fluctuates and worsens within half a year, and gradually worsens. ③ Headache occurs or worsens after strenuous activities such as exhaling, exerting force, coughing and wheezing. ④ Headache first occurs in middle-aged people over 50 years old. ⑤ Positive signs can be detected during or during the interval of headache. Everyone should be highly vigilant, undergo further examinations, clarify the diagnosis, and receive timely treatment. It is best not to delay. Migraine is the most important and common vascular headache, presenting with throbbing pain or swelling consistent with the pulse. Lowering your head, being exposed to heat, exerting force, coughing, etc. can all make headaches worse. Examination may reveal a bulging temporal artery and increased pulsation, and headaches may be alleviated after compression. It often occurs during adolescence, and some patients have a family history. It is often triggered by fatigue, emotional factors, menstruation, etc.

Paroxysmal headache

The symptoms fluctuate and worsen over half a year and are persistent. Severe headaches may be accompanied by nausea and projectile vomiting (more common in the morning and evening).

Sudden onset of severe headache that spreads from one side to both sides, accompanied by severe vomiting, stiff neck, and generally clear consciousness

For patients with hypertension, headaches are generally not severe. They are a feeling of swelling or tightness in the back of the head or neck, which may worsen when they are nervous or tired. They may also cause sudden and severe chronic headaches, nausea, vomiting, and changes in consciousness.

Recurrent

Paroxysmal unilateral/bilateral/alternating moderate to severe headache with a throbbing sensation that worsens during activity, with photophobia, phonophobia, nausea, and vomiting.

There is often a feeling of heaviness/tightness in the head, mild to moderate headache, often bilaterally affected, and tenderness in the muscles around the head; it does not worsen during activity, and there may be photophobia and phonophobia, but no nausea or vomiting.

The headache is severe, but limited to one side of the eye socket, supra-orbital and temporal area. During the attack, the temporal blood vessels pulsate and there is tenderness, and the scalp and facial skin have pain hypersensitivity.

Headaches are associated with eye problems (headaches that radiate from the eyeball to the back or top of the eye, with a throbbing sensation, nausea, vomiting, a sharp decrease in vision, and obvious eye congestion.

If you have scalp pain, you can also find some related treatment methods yourself, such as using some acupressure methods to relieve scalp pain. Sometimes headaches will occur after being too nervous or highly concentrated. At this time, you should rest in bed and regulate your body. I believe that after your body recovers soon, you will no longer have headaches.
