Side effects of liposuction for weight loss

Nowadays, many women are not satisfied with their figure. They want to lose weight if they are a little fat. Especially those women who are considered fat by everyone, they regard losing weight as the most important thing in their lives. We all know that once you gain weight, it will be difficult to lose weight, and many methods are ineffective. Some people want to try liposuction to lose weight, but everyone must not ignore the side effects of liposuction.

Many people want to use simple methods to lose weight. They can't stand long-term exercise and dieting. The best way to lose weight for them is liposuction, but when using this method to lose weight, they must be aware of the side effects of liposuction.

Postoperative skin flap necrosis. If too much subcutaneous fat is sucked out during liposuction surgery, the blood circulation of the skin will be destroyed, and skin blisters or even necrosis may occur, leaving scars after surgery, affecting the appearance. This is mainly determined by the doctor's technical level.

Delayed healing of wounds after surgery. Liposuction wounds are generally several millimeters deep and are easy to heal. However, if there is severe damage, infection, or fluid accumulation, delayed healing may occur, and the small scars left after healing are also more obvious.

Numbness and abnormal sensations in the surgical area after surgery. After liposuction, the skin sensation in the liposuction area will inevitably be affected, and numbness and abnormal sensations such as occasional pins and needles and ants will appear. Generally, they will gradually recover 1-3 months after surgery.

The surgical area is not smooth. Liposuction is not absolutely uniform, so the surgical area will feel uneven after surgery. Mild unevenness is inevitable. Wearing elastic corsets and proper massage for 1-3 months after surgery can gradually smooth it out. But this depends on the doctor's skills. If severe unevenness occurs and still cannot be restored 3-6 months after surgery, liposuction will be required again.

The liposuction area is seriously asymmetrical. This side effect is caused by improper preoperative design and intraoperative operation, and requires another liposuction surgery for correction.

Note:

1. Patients who undergo liposuction surgery must consult a professional plastic surgeon. Only through good communication before the operation can the ideal results be achieved.

2. Do not draw too much at one time. Liposuction should be performed away from women’s menstrual period. Aspirin-like drugs should be avoided within two weeks before surgery to avoid hematoma or massive bruising, which may cause hemosiderin deposition and skin pigmentation.

3. The hip line should not be maintained and fat in certain special parts should not be extracted casually to avoid postoperative collapse.

4. Don’t overeat or go on a diet at will. Proper diet and exercise are the long-term solutions to maintain health and keep in shape.

What are the side effects of liposuction? Everyone's physique is different. If those who love beauty want to undergo this plastic surgery, they must understand the surgery clearly, including the choice of hospital, the quality of the doctor, and postoperative care.

Now we know that liposuction has many side effects, and there is a high chance of rebound. Some people use this method to lose weight, but it has a great impact on their appearance. When choosing a method to lose weight, you should keep a clear head and don’t blindly follow the trend. You should know what method is the healthiest for losing weight.
