How to use toner

How to use toner

The main function of toner is to adjust the pH value of the skin and cleanse the skin again so that the subsequent skin care products can be better absorbed by the skin. Many young women use toner, but many of them use it incorrectly, which will greatly affect the effectiveness of the toner, causing other skin care products to not be well absorbed by the skin, resulting in unnecessary waste.

Here is a brief introduction on the correct use of toner. The first step in using toner: wash your face with clean water first, then dry it with a soft towel. The skin is relatively moist at this time, so avoid air-drying it. Then pour an appropriate amount of toner onto a clean cotton pad and start wiping your face. Make circles with your hands in opposite directions and try to wipe along the skin texture.

Only in this way can the toner penetrate into the skin as much as possible. When wiping the sides of the nose, chin and other oily areas, be sure to wipe them for a while longer to allow the toner to moisturize more. This will help remove oil well and allow the toner to achieve the best effect. Also, be sure to avoid the eyes and lips. Since most toners have exfoliating properties, try not to apply too much to the same area.

Since some ingredients in toner are prone to cause skin allergies, people with allergic skin may experience facial redness and itching, and in severe cases, even peeling. Therefore, before using toner, you must first know whether you have allergic skin. Toners basically contain alcohol. Try to choose toners with less alcohol, because too much alcohol will make the skin too dry.

In fact, toner is not just for female friends. There are many kinds of toner suitable for men on the market. Toner can not only whiten, remove dead skin and oil, but also has a good effect in removing fatigue. If you need a toner to relieve eye fatigue, be sure to choose one that does not contain alcohol.
