When you prepare your own power cord, the optimal length is 2m. If the power cord is too long and not arranged properly, it will drag on the ground. People walking around may trip over the iron and fall to the ground, or burn the stoneware while ironing, or even hurt others.

During the breaks in ironing, the iron should be placed upright or on a special iron rack. Never place the electric iron on any loose objects to avoid fire; also do not place the electric iron on iron blocks or bricks to avoid scratching the electroplating layer of the bottom plate.

Clean the dirt on the outer surface of the electric iron in time. The fluff on the surface of chemical fiber fabrics is easily melted and adheres to the base plate and cokes, forming black spots, which are not only unsightly but also inconvenient to use. To avoid this type of dirt, place a clean damp cloth on top when ironing synthetic fabrics. If black spots appear on the bottom plate, do not scrape it with a knife, as this will damage the coating of the bottom plate. The most convenient and effective method is: first use a wet cloth dipped in a little toothpaste, slowly wipe the rust stains, after wiping clean, apply a layer of wax, turn on the power, melt the wax and then wipe again. If the rust is on the bottom of the iron, use a piece of waste cloth as a pad and iron it back and forth vigorously several times. This method of removing dirt will not only not damage the electroplating layer of the electric iron, but also can restore its original smoothness and flatness.

Electric iron is a very commonly used small appliance in life and also a very common small appliance.
