In autumn, when the wind blows, the air humidity is low, and the content of wind and sand is relatively high, many friends may have the problem of chapped lips. 1. Remember to apply lip balm after washing your face and after meals to add a protective film for your lips to prevent moisture loss too quickly.

2. Even in winter, it is best to use a lip balm with sun protection.

3. Get rid of the habit of licking your lips frequently. Doing so will lick off the lip balm on your lips, losing the protective layer and accelerating the evaporation of moisture on your lips.

4. Exfoliate your lips regularly to keep them moisturized and healthy. Remember to do this when your lips are fully moistened, such as after taking a shower, and be gentle. For normal skin, use this treatment once a week.

5. If your lips are very dry and peeling, you need special lip care. First, wipe your lips gently with a wet towel, then wipe off the moisture, and then apply lip balm containing ingredients such as calendula, chamomile essence, beeswax, aloe vera, tea tree oil, etc. After continuous care for a week, your lips will be restored to moisture.

6. If your lips are flaky, do not tear them off with your hands. Apply a hot towel for a while and then apply lip balm for protection after the skin softens.

7. There is a simple, effective and cheap way to save "critical" lips. Cover your lips with a cup of boiling water for a while, let the steam fully soak the cracked lips, and then apply sesame oil to lock in the moisture. There was significant improvement after a few days.

At the same time, we can also further help treat the problem by applying lipstick or wearing a mask to correct the bad habit of licking lips.
