(2) Boric acid cockroach killing method. Take appropriate amounts of flour, boric acid, onion and milk. First chop the onion and then squeeze it into juice. Add a little bit of onion juice to a mixture of equal amounts of flour and boric acid, then add a little milk, and knead it into small balls with a diameter of 1 cm by hand. Place the boric acid balls in places where cockroaches often appear. Since cockroaches have a special preference for the smell of onions, they will come and eat the balls as soon as they smell them. (3) Scalding, burning and removing oocysts. In combination with cleaning the cockroaches on the stove, kitchen, drawers, etc., their egg sacs can be killed by scalding them with boiling water or burning them with fire. This is a method of killing cockroaches commonly used by the public. Repeating this method frequently has a certain effect on reducing the density of cockroaches and reducing their harm.

(4) Trapping method: Use a wooden box trap. The box is 14.5*10.5*5 cm in size, with 3.5*2.5 cm holes on both sides, each equipped with a cardboard drain funnel. Place a small amount of pasta that cockroaches like to eat, such as freshly baked bread or freshly steamed buns, in the wooden box as bait. From 10 pm to 4 am the next day, place the wooden box in a place where cockroaches often move. The trapped cockroaches should be killed in time. When using the wooden box trap, pay attention to changing the bait frequently to attract cockroaches.

(5) Killing with drugs: Use dichlorvos smoke for fumigation. Before fumigation, be sure to close the doors and windows to create a closed environment, which can achieve a certain effect. Use 20% dichlorvos powder and sprinkle it in places where cockroaches often move, which has a good killing effect. Mixing dichlorophenyl ether and dichlorvos for application also has a good fumigation effect. Spraying with a diluted solution of propoxur has the best effect in killing cockroaches.

(6) Poison bait method: Use 2% dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane or dichlorvos solution, mix it in a ratio of 1:3 with crushed steamed bread or other food, and sprinkle it in the cockroaches' active areas at night, which can have a certain killing effect; or use cockroach tablets sold on the market, and place them in places where cockroaches often move, which can also have a certain poisoning effect.

In addition, based on the habit of cockroaches to gnaw on paste, mixing 2% phoxim or 2% acephate and other drugs into the paste, and then applying or spraying it on places where cockroaches live and enter and exit, can achieve good insecticidal effects.

When using drugs to kill cockroaches, pay attention to the kitchen bowls, cutting boards, sinks, four walls, as well as indoor bookcases, cabinets, drawers, floor gaps, etc. When applying the drugs, special attention should be paid to prevent contamination of food and cooking utensils to prevent poisoning incidents.
