The incidence of nasopharyngeal cancer will infect the patient's nasopharynx and cause cancer. In order to avoid the recurrence of nasopharyngeal cancer, many patients hope to avoid the deterioration of nasopharyngeal cancer through prevention. Where is the incidence of nasopharyngeal cancer? How to prevent it? The pharynx is a common passage for the upper end of the human respiratory tract and digestive tract. It is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, flat at the front and back, and slightly funnel-shaped. The front part is connected to the nasal cavity, oral cavity, and laryngeal cavity, and the back wall is adjacent to the prevertebral fascia; the two sides are adjacent to the neck and nerves. The pharynx can be divided into three parts: nasopharynx, oropharynx, and laryngopharynx. The nasopharynx, also known as the upper pharynx, is located between the base of the skull and the plane of the free edge of the soft palate. Its top is the butterfly bone and the base of the occipital bone; the front middle is the rear edge of the nasal septum, and the two sides are the posterior nostrils. Through this hole, it is connected to the nasal cavity; the back wall is level with the cervical vertebrae 1 and 2. There are pharyngeal recesses on the left and right sides of the nasopharynx: there is a raised part above the pharyngeal opening, called the Eustachian tube occipital. There is a sunken area between the posterior and superior part of the Eustachian tube occipital and the posterior wall of the pharynx, called the pharyngeal recess. It is a common site for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The upper part is adjacent to the foramen of the skull base, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma can easily invade the skull through this foramen. The nasopharynx has five walls, and tumors may occur in any of them, but they are most common in the pharyngeal recesses. Because of their depression, early tumors are difficult to detect. Patients should try to avoid exposure to heavily polluted external air environments. Because the nasopharynx is the only way for external air to enter the lungs, harmful gases first invade the nasopharynx before entering the lungs. Pay attention to the dietary structure, do not be picky eaters, and eat more vegetables, fruits and other foods that contain a lot of vitamins. In the diet, eat less or no foods containing nitrosamines, such as salted fish, pickles, bacon and some canned foods containing nitrosamines. Quit smoking and limit drinking. Participate in sports appropriately to enhance your ability to resist diseases. Do not underestimate symptoms such as nasal congestion, nose bleeding, runny nose, etc. that are repeatedly treated poorly. You should go to a regular hospital as soon as possible. The incidence of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is the pharyngeal recess. Patients can take preventive measures in this regard under the guidance of a pharmacist. |
