How to grow Schefflera chinensis

1. Light and temperature requirements. Schefflera is relatively easy to grow. It can withstand certain high and low temperatures. It prefers a semi-shady growing environment and grows better in a bright and well-ventilated room. As long as the indoor sunlight is guaranteed to be about 4 hours a day, it will thrive. The suitable temperature for growth is 15-25 degrees, and it can grow normally above 5 degrees in winter.

2. For varieties with yellow and white stripes, if the light exposure time is short, the light is too weak, or too much nitrogen fertilizer is applied, the stripes will become blurred and lose their original characteristics, so sufficient light exposure time must be ensured.

3. Watering method. Schefflera has a certain degree of drought and moisture resistance, but that does not mean there is no limit. To say that it is drought and moisture resistant is only in comparison with some flowers. Keep watering when it is dry, and avoid too much water. Generally, it needs to be watered more frequently in summer because the climate is dry and the temperature is high, so more water is needed. You can water it once a day to keep the soil moist.
